In just under two weeks Canada is set to celebrate its 150th birthday. And at Novaread we believe that’s no small achievement.
How do we celebrate?
Of course, we’ll do the regular things: venture into the great outdoors, BBQ, and take in our local Canada Day concert on the Common. (If you’re looking for Canada Day activities, the Halifax Regional Municipality has designed this microsite filled with details on everything happening locally: www.hrmcanadaday.ca).
But Canada is so huge, and rich in history, one day isn’t enough. So we’re undertaking our own 15-day micro-blog dedicated to celebrating this beautiful country’s past, present, and future. We’ll dedicate it to authentic Canadiana, filling it with interesting facts and lessons that help define this vast and varied land we call home.
Starting July 1st we’ll post an article every second day until July 30th. The result? A month long celebration of our great nations birthday.
We’re excited about it, and look forward to letting you know when it’s up. We can hardly wait to share this celebratory Canadian journey with you!
